When Joseph Lamelas, M.D., returned home to join the University of Miami Health System, I treated the world-renowned cardiac surgeon’s arrival like a superstar athlete free agent signing. The campaign made such a splash around town, the Miami Herald wrote an article proclaiming billboards are back.
